Mother’s Day Murder*

“Will Judy Murray be celebrating this Mother’s Day,” the commentator says.  “Or will it be Mrs Nishikori in Japan?”

Due to a combination of factors, am spending Mother’s Day watching the Davis cup tennis alone.  Andy is 4 – 2 up in the first set against Kei Nishikori, who rested yesterday to be fresh for this match.  Or that’s what am assuming as he didn’t play in the doubles.

Celebrated with Mum earlier in the week when bought her Jurassic World and we watched it.  Seems pointless going out for lunch today without my brother.  Miss him.

And, at last, skin has started breaking down under arm and across chest. Mustn’t pick it.  It’s raw, weeping and sore.  Poor me.  After this match will have bath and then put the gel pack on it.  Although am not convinced that it helps.

On the plus side: have cooked two recipes from new Deliciously Ella Every Day book.  Look:

That is ‘Kale and cannellini stew with sweet potato wedges’.  Although used chickpeas instead of the beans and quinoa instead of the sweet potato.  It was lovely.

The other one was ‘Green Goodness Bowl’ – a broccoli and courgette thing.  Don’t have a photo, but it was ok.

Soon am going to look like Ella, no doubt.  Look how pretty she is.  As is her spaniel:

Andy has just taken the first set 7 – 5.  Yay!

Attached photo is yesterday’s Spin outfit.  Am having rare rest day today – which is probably why am not feeling good!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Your poor skin. Is there anything you can put on it to help?

I am sorry about your skin! Have you heard of a cream called Mitosyl? It’s Belgian and it’s great for skin complaints…if you haven’t tried it already let me know, I will see how you can get some in the UK!! Might be worth a try!! XX
