“The smile says it all for the five-times former champion,” the commentator says, as Venus wins her match 10 – 8 in the third set, against a nineteen year old, after two rain delays.
It’s sunny now and the sky is blue but it’s been a day of rain breaks at Wimbledon. Nick Kyrgios and Dustin Brown have been playing all day and now it’s 5 – 4 to Kyrgios in the fifth. Remember watching Dustin Brown last year with my Seb. Argh I miss that boy so much. The panther lies next to me on the sofa and I stroke his flank.
Kyrgios is serving for the match now. “You wouldn’t blame him for being tense, would you?” The commentator says as he double faults, but Kyrgios wins the match.
It’s almost time for supper and there are artichokes. Today have achieved:
1. Spin – see attached photo. Push self hard.
2. Lunch arrangement with a chum.
3. Bath and hair wash.
4. Afternoon sleep. Hope will be able to sleep this evening – last night wasn’t a brilliant night of sleeping.
5. Cuddle with my fluffy monster.
Happy Friday everyone!
