Lady Midnight*

Back from an exhausting but fun day with Mr Fluffypants.  We meet a Novia Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever:

Haven’t met one before.  She is prettier than she looks in the photo – she was distracted by Mr Fluffypants sniffing her bottom.

We meet a chum for lunch at the pub:

Then we walk for about two hours. We spot this Land Rover:

Blue and brown plaques often have Pokestops at them.  Pokemon Go alerts you to sites of local interest which you might not notice otherwise:

This morning: wake up early and go out to take photos in the fog.  Love the bare branches and lights rising out of the gloom and the  Sleepy Hollow atmosphere.  Don’t encounter a Headless Horseman though

The attached photo at the top of this post is my Instagram one.

Am drinking some new green tea.  This one:

Have tidied up a bit.  Need to sort out the hall cupboard which seems to be in a mess again.  Maybe will move some of the pairs of boots out of it and into the bottom of my wardrobe.

There is a Chanukiah up by the pond.  Look:

It is busy everywhere today:  people doing last minute Christmas shopping I presume.  After the fog clears it’s a crisp, cold but sunny day: ideal for walking.

Now am listening to Leonard Cohen, drinking my green tea and thinking about unloading the washing machine.  Need to make supper too: scrambled eggs with spinach and cheddar I reckon.

Too tired to think of much to write.   It feels like the middle of the night, it’s so dark.  The sun set at about four o’clock this afternoon. Have been on my feet almost all day.  Even walk home from Mr Fluffypants’ house through the park.  Don’t see the lemurs: they’re probably in their warm house.

Looking forward to seeing the parentals and my fluffy monster tomorrow.  Have a date with Mr Fluffypants next Wednesday which is good.

Happy Thursday everyone!

    Hi Hi

I have met four Novia Scotian Duck Tolling Retreviers over the last few years. Would you believe popular in Sydney? Lovely dogs. Not quite as bonkers as my much beloved Kelpie. (Australian sheep dog). I felt such a tug at my heart when I saw your misty morning photos. It reminds me of my first visit to England as a 9 year old with my parents. So special!
