Arrive at the Office at long last this morning after a one hour and forty five minute journey due to solid traffic caused by the tube strike. On the plus side: a colleague left me a present: these gorgeous earrings:
Boss and colleague seem pleased to see me so that’s something.
The attached photo shows current knitting progress. Even manage to knit on the bus this morning!
My bank card’s magnetic strip has been deactivated by something and so new card arrives at parental home on Friday. Have taken out £50 in cash to last till then. Card will still work for Uber and contactless but is unswipable.
Have submitted my poems to the website of my old Creative Writing MA so fingers crossed they like them and give them a further life. Thank you everyone for all the positive comments on them.
Have tummy ache but must get head down and return to the coal face of The Office. It’s been raining all day and now it’s dark.
Happy Monday everyone!
