The Blue Geranium*

It’s 5.16pm.  Am sitting up in bed at the flat.  Have achieved Body Scan Meditation and a rest, although can’t sleep.  It’s a hot sunny day.

The flat is clean and tidy: cleaner has been so that’s good.

My geraniums are flowering:

So are my “Joseph’s Coat” spirea:

The panther lies next to me on the bed, stretched out alongside me.  He rests his head on my shoulder.  His breath smells of rotting meat.  His head feels very heavy.

Need to:

  1. Unload dishwasher.
  2. Put clothes away that are hanging on airer.
  3. Make supper.

Don’t need to have bath as did that this morning.

Don’t perform too badly at Spin today.  Here is graph:

At least there is some yellow in there.  Anyway: the important thing is to be at Spin and to do my best.  Am not performing at full strength at the moment and that’s just the way it is.  Mustn’t let it upset me.  Must just be pleased with self for pushing on despite Not Feeling Good.

The attached photo is today’s Spin outfit.

Happy Monday everyone!
*1932.  By Agatha Christie.  Short story that appears in the Miss Marple collection The Thirteen Problems.
