Poppy Redfern And The Midnight Murders*

Am brave at the cancer hospital. Mum is not allowed to come in with me at the moment due to Coronavirus so go through blood tests, Fulvestrant bum injections and Zoladex stomach injection on own.

We go for a drive after my treatment. Come home and have lunch, meditate and sleep. Wake up and have iced coffee and mango 🥭 in the garden.

The poppies are out in the red bed:

Mum has planted all the petunias in pots:

I have to do my Tarot For Growth May post and then will look for an old tennis 🎾 match to watch on Eurosport with Mum.

Am lying on my bed writing this and the panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on my shoulder.

Happy Friday everyone!

Learned this year with my 1st grader how red poppies are a part of Memorial Day remembrances and I will never look at another red poppy the same. Getting cancer treatment right now is so very weird!! I also don’t prefer going by myself to appointments, but I appreciate my cancer center’s efforts in keeping us safe. ❤️❤️
