The Cat Who Knew A Cardinal*

Katie from Mind calls this morning. Then I do my Personal Training over Zoom, which is hard work.

One of my Pilates chums visits. It is good to see her.

We have lunch in the garden. My phone charger stops working so I get stressed about this and purchase a new one from Amazon which will arrive tomorrow.

Meditate but can’t sleep.

Mum’s tennis friend comes round with my prescription.

Fluffball is in now. See above photos of him last night.

Do my Tarot For Growth May post.

I need to have my bath ๐Ÿ›€. Am lying on my bed writing this and the panther is sitting on the windowsill, looking out over the garden.

Happy Thursday everyone!

The Pink Flamingo Murders*

It’s another hot day. Do Zoom Barre at 10.30am and then go out in the garden. Fluffball spends some time in the garden with us: doing rolling and sitting.

Have lunch and then go for a short drive with Mum. Have lunch in the garden and meditate but can’t sleep.

Our next door neighbours come round to look at the garden and it is good to see them. Sit in the sun ๐ŸŒž for a few minutes.

Do my Tarot For Growth May post.

Fluffball is in now.

I am wearing my shorts again.

Am sitting on the spotty sofa writing this. The panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head in my lap.

Hopefully tonight we will have a Silent Witness to watch.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Murder Gardens*

Do Pilates over Zoom this morning. It is the first Pilates class for ages. It is really good.

Go for a drive with Mum after lunch. We see the donkeys and drive up to the garden centre but we are not allowed to go in as we’re Extremely Vulnerable.

Have my sleep.

Wake up and visit next door neighbours’ beautiful garden:

It is good to see neighbours and to have a chat with them. Spot a newt in their lovely pond.

Now am sitting in our garden. There is a wild lion ๐Ÿฆ prowling around:

Am sitting in the shade as it’s too hot in the sun. Mum is watering the seedlings ๐ŸŒฑ.

The panther is lying on the swinging chair. His tail twitches.

I need to do my Tarot For Growth May post but am going to sit in the garden for a bit longer.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Miss Petuniaโ€™s Last Case*

Our gardener brings the bedding plants:

There are petunias, including Night Sky and Red osteospermum. Mum puts them into pots and baskets whilst I do my Bootylicious class on Barre. It is a special workout with the Booty bands. It is tough.

We have lunch in the garden and see the starlings, blackbird, squirrels and blue tits having their lunch. It is hot so I put on some shorts:

We go for a short drive after lunch. Return home and I have my sleep. Wake up and have coffee โ˜•๏ธ and an apple ๐ŸŽ and do my Tarot For Growth May post. Mum is out calling Fluffball: it’s his time to come in.

Suspicion is meant to be on the iPlayer so hopefully we can watch that tonight. Am writing this on my bed and the panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on his front paws. I need to have my bath ๐Ÿ›€ and then see if can find some tennis ๐ŸŽพ on Eurosport.

Happy Monday everyone!

Death At Peony House*

Here is the first peony flower:

Have my Zoom chat with my besties this morning and then go for a walk with Mum. We go up to the fields to see the cows but there seem to be no cows this year which is a shame.

Come home and have lunch, meditate and sleep.

We give Fluffball his flea pill ๐Ÿ’Š which is huge so Mum cuts it into four pieces. He is a good boy to swallow all of them but then hides under the piano ๐ŸŽน.

Mum washes my hair over the sink.

Do my Tarot For Growth May post.

Now have a Zoom party to attend. Must post this quickly as it’s 6.24pm now and party is at 6.30pm. Am writing this lying on my bed and the panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on my shoulder.

Happy Sunday everyone!

The Happy Birthday Murder*

I have some visitors yesterday on my birthday: my three best friends in the morning and my lovely personal trainer and a Barre chum in the late afternoon. It is so good to see people for the first time in almost two months. We sit in the garden at appropriate social distancing spacing.

The irises are all out for my birthday:

Some lovely people send flowers:

Today I do Barre in the morning and have just had more visitors.

Birthday is really lovely and I feel very loved by lots of people: lots of cards and presents arrive.

Parents are on a Zoom call with some of their friends now and I need to have my bath ๐Ÿ›€. Fluffball is in. I’m lying on my bed writing this and the panther sits on the windowsill looking out over the garden.

Tonight we have a Silent Witness to watch.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Birthdays Can Be Murder*

Finally get through to Barclays last night and new debit card will be here within three days.

Wake up and do my Personal Training over Zoom. Have to do lots of difficult exercises for a minute each and trainer is pleased with me. It looks like she will be adding a Zoom Pilates class to our exercise week.

Have lunch, meditate and sleep. When I wake up I have coffee โ˜•๏ธ and melon ๐Ÿˆ.

Fluffball is in now:

I spend some time chatting to him about his day.

I’m going to be 41 tomorrow. It is a shame that will have a Lockdown birthday. I think we will have a Zoom dinner with my brother.

Am lying on my bed writing this. The panther lies next to me. He is grooming himself: rasping his flank with his rough tongue.

Am going to have my bath ๐Ÿ›€ now and then hopefully we have a Silent Witness to watch: Drama are repeating the old ones with Amanda Burton and I haven’t seen many of them.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Murder In The Garden*

Last night we watch last Friday’s Gardeners’ World. It is the last footage of Nigel, Monty’s beloved Golden Retriever, who died just after the programme. He was such a special boy. Will miss him so much.

Wake up and talk to Katie from Mind. Then it’s Zoom Barre ๐Ÿฉฐ which seems to be getting harder, or I’m losing fitness, or both.

Facebook pulls up two photos of Fluffball from six years ago today:

Here he is today:

Have lunch, meditate and sleep. Then wake up and have coffee โ˜•๏ธ and melon ๐Ÿˆ.

Now am sitting with parents and Fluffball. Fluffball is in his pink chair. I’m on the sofa. Mum is at the other end of the sofa. The panther lies between us, resting his heavy head in my lap.

I need to do my Tarot For Growth May and have my bath ๐Ÿ›€ and then we have our weekly Zoom dinner with my parental friends.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Murder On Black Swan Lane*

We go to Frogmore Lakes for our walk. The geese have new goslings:

The swans have six cygnets:

The coots have babies too:

We have a lovely walk. All the babies look really new and we look forward to seeing them grow up.

Come home and read my book in the garden for a bit.

Have lunch, meditate and sleep.

Wake up and have coffee โ˜•๏ธ and melon ๐Ÿˆ and cuddle Fluffball who is in for the day now.

Need to do my Tarot For Growth May post and try to talk to Barclays about the Fraud on my bank card.

Am lying on my bed writing this. The panther sits on the windowsill looking out over the garden. The tip of his tail twitches.

There has been a relaxation of the Lockdown rules but not for Mum or me as we are in the Extremely Vulnerable group sadly.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Mango Madness Murder*

Wake up to a message from Barclays that there has been fraud on my card. Again. Phone several times but can’t get through to them. They have put a temporary stop on my card.

Katie from Mind calls and then we have a Booty Band class over Zoom where we have to wear a band round our legs for the whole class. It is hard work.

Have lunch, meditate and sleep. Wake up and have coffee โ˜•๏ธ and mango ๐Ÿฅญ.

Do my Tarot For Growth May post. Today I pull XVI: The Tower which stands for demolition:

Fluffball is in now and I photograph him:

When Fluffball wants attention he does rolling, as you can see in the second photo of him.

I have to go now as brother wants to talk to me.

Am lying on my bed writing this and the panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on my back.

Happy Monday everyone!
