In Sides*

Wake up and pack up everything to take back to flat. There seems to be A Lot of stuff, as per usual. G-d knows what it all is.

The Tarot of the Cloisters arrives yesterday. Mum buys me this unusual vintage deck as a present for earning some money from my Tarot Reading at last. As you can see: the cards are round. I really love this deck.

Do Tarot For Growth August with my White Sage Tarot – another newish deck which has become a firm favourite.

So happy to be back at my flat, burning incense and relaxing and am reunited with some Tarot decks that I’ve been missing and my Magickal altar.

Before leaving the parentals this morning, visit the dentist 🦷 at eight o’clock. Am the only person there as am Shielding. The dentist, receptionist and dental nurse 👩‍⚕️ are all wearing masks 😷 and it feels very safe and hygienic.

Dentist says my teeth are perfect. Since stopping the cancer meds 💊 the dryness in my mouth has gone. Yet another reason to stay off them. Buy some harp floss picks as am not good at remembering to floss.

Pack up several bags 💼 to take back to flat including camera 📷 tripod which will live here as am much closer to the bird feeders at the flat than am able to be at the parental home.

Work hard at Barre 🩰 when arrive at flat and teacher is pleased with me. My roller is here so that will be useful for Personal Training tomorrow and Pilates on Friday.

It rains 🌧 heavily All Day. Have an early sleep from half past twelve till two. Then have another new Tarot Querent. It’s a relationship reading again.

When I arrive at my flat, all my summer clothes which were in brother’s wardrobe are in a huge mess on my bed.

When I left here on 15th March it was still winter.

So I do a good job: take all the winter dresses off their hangers and put them on the top shelf of the wardrobe and then hang up all the summer dresses.

Even clear the tights out of their drawer and put them with the winter dresses, freeing up a whole drawer.

Let’s hope there’s another couple of months of fine weather. Listen to Orbital’s classic album In Sides whilst am doing this. It’s good to be reunited with my CD 💿 player.

It stops raining and I rush out for a quick walk around the block. The rain holds off. Now I’m back at the flat and my thoughts turn to supper.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

The Pale Horse*

Snap some lovely photos of Fluffball in the garden early this morning.

Do my Tarot For Growth August post when I wake up:

I use my new Bonefire Tarot 🦴 🔥 which I love. Isn’t it happy and bright.

Go for a walk after breakfast and then work hard at Pilates and chat with my teacher and chums afterwards. There is a massive shower of rain 🌧 just before lunch which comes in through the tops of my slanting windows and, even though I’ve put buckets down, soaks my windowsill and floor.

Have lunch, meditate and sleep. Do the last two modules of my Equine Psychology Diploma. Am just halfway through module five though which is about the theory of horse training techniques and is very difficult. Mum is going to help me with it.

Achieve two new Tarot clients today. Just complete a reading for the first one who wants to know if her ex will come back. The cards say he won’t and she must focus on herself:

It’s suppertime now so much just post this.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

The Astrology Bible*

Wake up after a long sleep from ten thirty last night till six o’clock this morning. Do my Tarot For Growth August post:

The Death card doesn’t mean literal death but can denote health problems which need to be seen to; big changes and transformation – leaving a job, career or relationship.

Cuddle Fluffball who is asleep on Dad’s chair 🪑 in the dining room. It’s a grey day.

Have Dorset cereal with pineapples 🍍 and papaya for breakfast as well as an iced coffee.

Shuffle around the block for twenty minutes. It’s cold and I wear my psychedelic trousers and my Cyclezone hoodie.

Come home and read The Astrology Bible which has just arrived. It’s in the same series as my beloved The Tarot Bible which I use Every Day. Reading it doesn’t feel like work and yet it is. I’m so lucky.

Have my weekly Zoom chat with my chums. Hannah is in Sussex and Suzy is asleep so I just talk to Dave for an hour about our new careers: he’s training to be a Career Counsellor at Universities. It’s good to check in with him.

Wash hair 💇🏻‍♀️ over the sink and wrap it up in my Argan Oil-infused hair turban from my darling Aunty which I love so much. Then have bath 🛀.

We go Out Out for lunch to the parental chums with whom we have our weekly Zoom dinner. Wearing my Missoni dress:

I photograph the garden:

Lunch is Ottolenghi salads:

The others also have meat from the barbecue. It is So Good to see our friends in the flesh and to chat to them and the food is amazing.

We stay till 3.45pm and then rush home for my sleep.

Meditate and sleep for two and a half hours.

Now am having supper as @thecrystalinn Live Sale starts at seven o’clock. Fluffball is now in.

Happy Sunday everyone!

The Tokyo Zodiac Murders*

Rereading the final draft of In Bloom just in case I want to make any small changes. The computer is up and running 👩‍💻. Upload some photos of Fluffball from the camera’s 📷 SD Card which is a longwinded and painful process.

Wake up and pull The Queen of Pentacles from my Ciro Marchetti Gilded Tarot for my Tarot For Growth August challenge.

Work hard at Barre at 10.30am. It’s So Cold that this morning I’m wearing my big fluffy dressing gown which is bright pink with pale pink hearts 💕: it’s from Marks and Spencer about ten years ago. Start Barre lying on the floor, shivering under a blanket. Warm up and work hard and my teacher is pleased with me.

Have a baked potato 🥔 with baked beans, grated cheese 🧀, half an avocado 🥑 and salad. Wear my dressing gown at lunch.

We need a professional to deal with the wasps’ nest in my bedroom wall as Mum is Severely Allergic to wasp stings. Dad has blocked up the hole inside with blu tax to stop them flying out into my bedroom, but spend most of the morning standing by the window with a can of insect 🦟 repellent as they keep flying in.

It rains all morning. The petunias are bedraggled. Haven’t seen Fluffball since the morning. Wonder where he is.

I’m waiting for The Astrology Bible to be delivered today. It’s in the Octopus Books Godsfield Bible series. I already have The Tarot Bible which I use every day.

Meditate and have a good long sleep after lunch from three o’clock till five o’clock. Wake up and have some melon 🍈 and mango 🥭 and watch the rain outside the window.

Mum will be going out to look for Fluffball soon so am going to remove some wasps from my bedroom and then help her find him.

Obtain a new Tarot client from the Persia Lawson GYS Digital group.

Mum and brother go for a walk – Mum – and run 🏃‍♂️- brother in the woods this morning. They are caught in the rain.

Supper is vegetable curry 🍛 yay!

Mum and brother have been working on the proofs of one of his articles All Day.

Happy Saturday everyone!

An Officer And A Spy*

Wake up and do my Tarot For Growth August post. It rained 🌧 all last night and there was thunder and lightning ⛈. When I was in bed there were lightning flashes outside often.

In the photos above you can see the front and back of my A-Level Biology 🧬 folder 📂 which is now my Astrology folder. It’s a very elderly folder now so I tart it up with some sellotape. I message the photos to my Agent as possible covers for In Bloom but she says the images are too detailed and there may be copyright © issues even though those nightclubs are all defunct. There’s a selection of Shutterstock images that we’ll be able to choose from.

Colour in my birth chart from the London School of Astrology. It’s difficult painstaking work and takes all morning. On the plus side it helps so much to see it on A4 rather than just on my phone screen.

It rains on and off all day. Meet my Pilates chum for lunch at Daisy & Co. We sit outside. We only stay there for an hour as it starts raining again. On the not-plus-side the waitresses aren’t wearing masks 😷 so I can’t return there. This is a shame as I enjoy the food: baked beans on brown toast 🍞 with kale 🥬.

Dad picks me up. Meditate and achieve a long sleep this afternoon: from two o’clock till five o’clock.

Eat my mango 🥭, drink coffee and brush some twigs and leaves 🍁 🍃 🍂 out of Fluffball’s tail. Email Seb’s Mum for Fluffball’s birth time as I need to cast his chart. He’s a Virgo ♍️ but I need to know his moon 🌑, rising and so on. Wonder what his Venus and Mars are; his Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn 🪐, Chiron, Uranus and Pluto and his Imum Coeli and Descendant.

I’m grappling with more obscure bits of the chart such as midheaven; North Node; South Node. There are triangles; squares; sextiles and sesquisquares; conjunctions; oppositions trines and quincunxes.

My elephant 🐘 adoption pack arrives from WWF and so does Trapeze: the Simon Mawer book.

I’ve just realised that I’ve read it but that’s fine: I’ll give it to Hannah for her birthday.

Next book will be An Officer And A Spy: the Robert Harris novel about the Dreyfus case. Looking forward to devouring it 🧛‍♀️ but must attempt to string it out a bit.

Happy Friday everyone!

Sacrifice And Modern War Literature*

Wake up and do my Tarot For Growth August post. Then do two modules of my Equine Psychology Diploma: I have to finish this and my Veterinary Assistant Diploma before I start my Astrology Degree in September.

Decide on the cover of my book with my agent. The front cover will be a psychedelic pattern with black or white writing over it. The back cover will include MadFatRunner’s panther picture: see above.

Work really hard at Zoom Personal Training. We do abs with the pink baby skateboard 🛹 and lots of triceps and biceps with my two and a half kilogram weights. It’s the first time I’ve used them since before my operation. Sweat A Lot: it’s still hot – about twenty six degrees today which is a copable-with temperature for me.

Return to the hospital to see my lung surgeon. Dad has to wait in the car and I’m in there for two hours on my own. Lung surgeon is pleased with me and we have a hug. For the first time ever my drain site hasn’t become infected. Today’s X-Ray 🦴 shows no fluid in my lungs.

I read brother’s new book Sacrifice And Modern War Literature. The two chapters I read are about the deaths of the First World War poets Rupert Brooke and Julian Grenfell and sacrifice in the First World War using propaganda photos and recruitment posters. It’s a fascinating book.

Do another paid Tarot Reading: yet another Love Reading. All but one of the Readings I’ve sold have been: is he cheating; will he call; will I get him back. Life is cruel and so are men, it seems.

Fluffball is in now and my uncle is coming over. Vegetable curry 🍛 tonight for supper.

Happy Thursday everyone!

The Stars Within You*

Exciting news! I’m going to be an Astrologer. Have just signed up to the London School 🏫 of Astrology Foundation Diploma which leads to an Intermediate year and then a Qualification year. So in three years I will be an Accredited Astrologer with the Association of Professional Astrologers International.

I’m so excited. Speak to the great Frank Clifford who is manning the phone and tell him that I’m Bipolar One and have Secondary Breast Cancer in my lungs. He says everything will be online – obviously and that I must ask for any help I need.

I’m so happy.

We have a hot, sweaty Pilates class. It’s wonderful to see everyone. All the fans are on and all the doors and windows are open. Cool air blows on me from my fan 🧊 💨.

My Hayley Menzies Enchanted Leopard 🐆 dress arrives at lunchtime. I love it. See above photo.

Finish Enigma: it’s so wonderful. Read it at once. It’s unputdownable. Selling Hitler next: can’t wait.

Take my first bird photos of a blue tit on the fat balls. It’s a start.

Sell another Tarot Reading: that’s four now!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Fight Club*

It’s too hot. I go to the doctor 👨‍⚕️ for the nurse 👩‍⚕️ to remove my stitches 🧵. She digs around in the wound to find them but can’t. She shines the dermascope torch 🔦 on my wound and fiddles with the teasers. She calls her boss in to help. He can’t see anything. So, she decides the stitch must’ve been pushed further in to the wound. She takes some swabs. The wound isn’t yet infected. We arrange for me to return next Monday in case the stitch has worked its way out of the skin by then. The whole business takes thirty five minutes.

Mum picks me up and drops me at the edge of the village. It’s already hot: must be almost thirty degrees. Walking home I photograph flowers in Beech Avenue.

When I return to the house, Fluffball is lying under Dad’s car. He doesn’t move.

Sitting in the garden, I wait for Katie from Mind. We have a good session of chat.

Meditate but don’t sleep. Have a cold bath 🛀 and even wash hair. Clean carpet with carpet shampoo 🧼 as yesterday spilled coffee all over it.

Research Astrology courses. I’m looking to do a professional, accredited qualification at the London School of Astrology. Shell the peas and broad beans.

Our neighbours come round for a drink 🥃 in the garden. It’s still So Hot at five o’clock: the temperature reaches thirty two degrees.

Have supper. Read Enigma in bed. Return to sleep.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
