Total Recall*

Stay at my cousins last night. We start watching Total Recall at about 10.20pm. At 10.30pm I go to bed. So still have never seen it.

Wake up this morning and have some porridge. My little cousin has a dreidel that is pink and when you spin it, it lights up and the light changes to different colours.

Pull The Fool from my Trippin’ Waite Tarot Deck. He stands for new beginnings and so is appropriate for the New Year.

Pull cards for my cousins too: the King Of Cups and Strength.

Uber home is very quick and then meditate and sleep. Unpack my suitcase. Need to put the washing away.

This month’s Goddess Collective module is Intuitive Exercise so I watch Mel’s video.

Finish watching You and start The Witcher.

Happy New Year 🥳 everyone!

*1990. Feature film. Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. Based on a short story by Philip K Dick We Can Remember It For You Wholesale. Directed by Paul Verhoeven.

Hidden Bodies*

Have a lovely walk with Dolly. We walk around Primrose Hill. Kiss and cuddle her. Love her so much.

Mum brings me back to the flat. Have lunch and do my Tarot Challenge. Today I pull the Ace Of Swords 🗡 from The Naked Heart 💓 Tarot Deck. Like all aces, this one stands for new beginnings. Happy New Year everyone.

I’m going to my aunt and uncle and from there on to my cousins. Tonight we are going to watch a film 🎥 to round off the decade. Am going to stay the night there.

Pack my tiny suitcase 🧳 and it’s at the foot of my bed. Cleaner comes today so have clean 🧼 and tidy house 🏡. Watch a couple more episodes of You. It’s so good: I don’t want it to end.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

*2016. By Caroline Kepnes. The sequel to You: adapted into the second series of You.

Dead Man’s Mirror*

Some photos from last night:

We have fun. It’s good to be out and wearing my Vivienne Westwood dress. We watch the fireworks at midnight from the rooftop of the club, which is good.

Get home about 1.30am but wake up at six o’clock. Read my book – The Word Is Murder. Watch Poirot in Dead Man’s Mirror whilst I wait for the gym to open.

Walk to gym. Here I am:

Do four sets of all my weights and then walk home.

Have lunch and a sleep. Wake up feeling a bit more human.

Now I’m watching Silent Witness and knitting. New scarf for Dolly’s owner is coming along well:

Hope that can finish it and give it to her before winter is over.

Happy New Year everyone!

The Adventure Of The Christmas Pudding*

Do Spin and Barre. See photos.

Then Dad drops me back at the flat and I watch a Silent Witness whilst knitting. Have spinach, felafel, hummus and avocado for lunch.

Bring my sequinned Rixo dress and my black boots and some tights back to the flat to wear for New Year’s Eve when I’m going to a Private Members’ Club with brother’s best friend. Am looking forward to it. Also bring my fake hair.

See my fluffy for a quick chat before heading back to the flat. I love that fluffy monster to distraction. Here he is last night:

Sleep. Wake up and have a bath.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?*

Have a pleasant New Year’s Eve in my warm flat, watching Whatever Happened To Baby Jane? followed by a couple of episodes of the first series of Grantchester and knitting. Am in bed by ten thirty or so.

Wake up this morning and go to Pilates, which is good. Left it out of my Resolutions I think but am aiming to attend Pilates more regularly.

Here is my fluffy monster three years ago today:

Here I am at Pilates. See also attached photo.

Have started watching Feud about the relationship between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford and am going to continue with that this afternoon and evening. It’s wonderful.

Happy New Year’s Day everyone!

  8. Safari with parentals and brother.
  9. Eilat a couple of times with family.
  10. A couple of nights in with boyfriends: one with Seb and one with a much younger manic depressive boyfriend when we watched Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

  12. One with Wayne at a terrible Jewish party.
  13. Another terrible Jewish party.
