Crime And Catnip*

Watch the start of Sascha vs Domi. Sascha wins the first set. Oh I love that boy.

Work hard at Pilates. Is good to see my chums including my friend pictured who I haven’t seen for ages.

Am brave at my horrible bum injections at the cancer hospital.

Meditate and sleep.

Today I pull the Three Of Cups from my Naked Heart Tarot Deck. The Three Of Cups is a card of socialising which I do with my chums at Pilates. I love this deck which is the first one I ever Really Wanted: just look at the beautiful dolphins šŸ¬.

Wake up and do six modules of my Feline Behaviour and Psychology course. Soon I will be an expert in Fluffball.

Am brave at my Zoladex injection. Am feeling constant nausea from the increased amount of fluid in my lungs. Have ginger drinks and Domperidone to help with this.

Have supper and watch the end of the Sascha vs Domi match which Domi wins in four sets. Am fond of him but I don’t love him like I love Rafa and Sascha. Now Domi has to try to beat Novak in Sunday’s final which is a tall order but perhaps if he plays amazingly he will do it. Chances are though that Novak will win his eighth Australian Open title.

Happy Friday everyone!

Murder With Peacocks*

Yesterday I walk Gandalf. It’s a cold but sunny day. He finds a stick but doesn’t manage to carry it home. I work hard at Barre. Am brave at my blood tests at the cancer hospital. Domi beats darling Rafa which is very sad.

Today I watch Novak beating an injured Roger. Have a bath šŸ›€. Catch the train to parentals and see Fluffball. See the above peacock šŸ¦š at the farm. Work really hard at training. Have a sleep.

I’ve just woken up after a long sleep and completed Module One of my Feline Behaviour and Psychology course. It’s spaghetti for supper.

I’m going to study Fluffball’s behaviour for my course and make sure his needs are being met.

Big day tomorrow starting at 8.30am when Domi plays Sascha. So there will be a Next Gen player in the final on Sunday. I hope it’s Sascha but Domi on great form.

Am drinking a ginger drink for my nausea. Tomorrow I’m doing a Tarot Reading for one of Mum’s friends after Pilates.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Murder In Midwinter*

Wake up at 7.30am in time to watch Roger beat Tennys Sandgren in five sets. Roger is carrying a groin injury, but he’s through to the semifinals. Then Novak defeats Milos Raonic in straight sets.

Have bath šŸ› and listen to Nick Drake whilst I’m waiting for Mum.

My friend comes with me to walk Dolly:

We kiss and cuddle her. My friend is overwhelmed by Dolly’s gentleness and kindness. You haven’t been loved till you’ve been loved by a Newfoundland they say, and it’s true. It is a sunny day šŸŒž but so cold that my hands are freezing inside my gloves. We have a gorgeous walk in the sunshine. Love my Dolly so much. Kiss her and cuddle her.

Today’s card is I: The Magician from my Klimt Tarot:

Isn’t she beautiful. The Magician stands for beginning of a journey, desire to improve, personal strength and charisma.

I love this deck: it’s one of my favourites. Look at all the gold and the red of her dress.

So, today I’m channeling the Magician by starting my Feline Behaviour and Psychology Diploma. The printed materials arrive this morning:

Soon I will be an expert in this person:

He has been inside sleeping since I arrived at the parentals at 3.30pm. Soon I will be an expert on him.

On the way back from the flat we stop off at the farm to buy some more ginger drinks:

Ginger helps my nausea which is caused by the cancer treatment.

Have a lovely sleep and wake up at six o’clock this evening.

Big day tomorrow as Sascha vs Stan at 3.30am followed by Rafa vs Domi at 8.30am. Then Barre. Then back to the flat where Suzy is visiting again.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Memoirs Of A Porcupine*

Wake up at 7.30am and catch the end of Stan’s match. He beats Medvedev in five sets. At eight o’clock Rafa and Nick Kyrgios come on. It’s a tense match but Rafa squeaks through in four sets.

Go for a walk in the sunshine šŸŒž.

Today’s card is Libra ā™Žļø from my Minchiate Etruria deck. This deck has 97 cards which include 41 Major Arcana – 21 Triumphs somewhat similar to the usual Major Arcana and 12 Zodiac Signs , 4 Elements and 4 Theological Virtues.

So in Libra ā™Žļø we can see the scales āš–ļø and a Wolf šŸŗ balances on top of them. In front there is a large porcupine. Porcupine is a fire šŸ”„ symbol and is connected with the sun šŸŒž and its energies. A warrior spirit, porcupine operates out of a place of innocence, respect and love. This makes their actions pure and harbours positive heart šŸ’“ energy. Porcupine opens doors to magical abilities and powers and is also a symbol of peace ā˜®ļø.

Wolf šŸŗ is a spirit of guardianship, loyalty, ritual and spirit. This Wolf I think represents the one who raised Romulus and Remus. Wolf has the ability to make quick and firm emotional attachments and often need to trust her own instincts. They teach us to do the same: to trust our hearts ā™„ļø and minds and to have control over our own minds.

Have lunch, meditate and sleep. Put a wash on and have a bath šŸ›€. Now am waiting for Suzy to visit. Haven’t seen her for ages. Am watching the Women’s Downhill šŸŽæ ā›· ā„ļø.

Happy Monday everyone!

Discovering Yourself Through The Tarot*

Have such fun at the Coffee and Crystals launch party last night.

Wear my black Vivienne Westwood dress and my face jewels šŸ’Ž:

There is a human crystal ball šŸ”® and we ask him questions:

Then we do a New Moon Ritual: we meditate and activate our chakras and set intentions.

Meet some lovely witches šŸ§™ā€ā™€ļø and am going to stay in touch with them.

Wake up this morning and watch Roger. He drops the first set but goes on to win easily.

Today’s Tarot card is the Knight Of Cups from my Crystal Visions Tarot Deck:

The Knight of Cups is gallant, chivalrous, sensitive and strong. He brings a romantic invitation or request. He is capable of sweeping women off their feet, however he is ruled by his heart and can be fickle. While the Knight is a passionate, poetic and romantic dreamer, he can also be temperamental, overly sensitive and prone to fantasy.

This Knight is riding a unicorn šŸ¦„ and appears under the full moon šŸŒ•. He has a dreamy expression: he can be whoever you want him to be but I feel that he thinks mainly of his own needs. He rides through a pond of water lilies which signify enlightenment, purity, spontaneous generation and divine birth. His unicorn is decorated with flowers. I love the calming pinks, purples and greens in this card.

I channel the dreamy energy of the Knight of Cups by reading this book:

It is fascinating and now I know much more about Jung, Kabbalah and Tarot.

It’s 6.55pm and I must make some supper.

Happy Sunday everyone!

*1994. By Rose Gwain. A Jungian guide to archetypes and personality.

The Blue Geranium*

We watch The Blue Geranium last night which is one of my favourite Marple episodes. Knit šŸ§¶.

Wake up this morning and read a bit of Knaussgard Book Six: The End. Let Fluffball out. Here he is six years ago today:

Then do the RSPB Great Garden Birdwatch with Mum. We see our blue tits, great tits, coal tits, robin, blackbirds, wood pigeons, jackdaws, dunnocks, magpies and squirrels. The Great Spotted woodpecker doesn’t turn up though and nor do the parakeets.

Work hard at Barre.

Dad takes me back to flat and we listen to Moneybox.

Pull V: The Hierophant today from my Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck. The Hierophant is my card for Taurus ā™‰ļø and represents authority and often teachers. So I channel his energy by spending time with Mum who is a teacher.

Watch the last set of Rafa’s match and the end of Domi’s match.

Meditate and sleep.

Wake up at five o’clock and wash hair. Am going to a party in Camden for a shop called Coffee and Crystals. Am excited. There will be a New Moon Ceremony.

Watching the start of Rafa’s match now. He looks wonderful in his fluorescent pink top and trainers.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Psychic Tarot*

Watch a new episode of Midsomer Murders last night about dancers. It is very good. The new series is excellent: look it up on the ITV player.

Have a long sleep and don’t wake up till 7.44am. Cuddle Fluffball.

This morning’s card is the Ace Of Wands from my Fantastical Creatures Tarot Deck:

The animal is a simurgh which is half-bird, half-mammal and lived in the secret mountains ā›° where the sacred Tree šŸŒ² of Life cured all diseases. This prophetic creature also had magickal powers, great wisdom and healing feathers.

According to ancient Persian poetry, the powerful giant Rustam worked with the simurgh to defeat evil.

On this card, the simurgh’s powerful wand represents opportunities for change. The simurgh’s legendary wisdom can help you make correct choices. The half-formed faces in the massive stones symbolise the latent power of intention.

Divinatory Meaning: Past efforts and thoughts directed toward change allow you to take on a new role or make radical changes in your lifestyle. Freedom from restraints.

Magickal Uses: Use the Ace Of Wands as a focal point in meditations when you desire great changes in your life.

So I call on the simurgh to help me and finish reading Psychic Tarot. Hoping to become more psychic and intuitive in my readings.

Work hard at Pilates despite pain in abs from yesterday’s training.

My friend picks me up from the farm and we go to Daisy’s for lunch. Have the superfood salad šŸ„— with halloumi:

My friend drops me home and meditate and sleep.

Wake up at 5.45pm. Another lovely long sleep.

Fluffball is still sleeping:

Tonight will be having my spinach and mushroom šŸ„ bottomless quiche. Please send thoughts and prayers as still no WiFi or telephone ā˜Žļø at parentals. It may be absent for several weeks according to BT.

Tonight we will watch a Poirot or Marple after supper and will do some knitting šŸ§¶.

Happy Friday everyone!

The Killing Way*

Wake up early and watch Nick Kyrgios win his match and Sascha Zverev win his match. Rafa also wins his match but miss it as am out with Dad.

Dad comes to the flat to send an email. Parentals have no email or phone line since a car crashed into the box in the road. BT will look at the damaged box on Monday.

Work hard at training and trainer is pleased with me.

Come home for a long sleep. Have just woken up.

Achieve a Distinction in my Kabbalah Diploma. Next courses are Canine Communication and Feline Behaviour And Psychology. Soon I will be able to understand my Fluffball. Hope I don’t discover that he hates us and wants us to leave him alone.

Today pull the Ace Of Swords šŸ—” from my Barbieri Tarot deck which is a positive card of facing up to new challenges which for me is the challenge of my new cat šŸ± and dog šŸ• courses.

Now we are going to watch Madagascar Island Stories or whatever it is called. There are lots of different species of lemur obviously.

Am excited as we have a new episode of Midsomer Murders to watch after supper. Can knit šŸ§¶ and be with my Fluffball.

Happy Thursday everyone!

A Murder Is Announced*

Watch A Murder Is Announced with Dad last night and knit šŸ§¶. It is one of my favourites.

Have a lovely long sleep and Mum wakes me up at eight o’clock this morning.

We walk Gandalf. It is cold šŸ„¶ I think one degree and muddy. He finds a stick and carries it home.

Work hard at Barre.

Mum takes me back to the flat. Unload dishwasher. Watch Novak’s match – he’s playing very well.

Meditate and sleep.

Wake up and watch Hocus Pocus which have never seen. It’s wonderful šŸ§™ā€ā™€ļø šŸ”® and the cat can talk šŸ±.

Write my Tarot post. Today’s card is X: The Wheel of Fortune from my Ciro Marchetti Gilded Tarot deck. This card is about change and cycles. Channel its energy by writing and watching tennis šŸŽ¾.

Have supper.

Now am back in bed and am going to meditate and have an early night. Will watch the tennis when I wake up tomorrow.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

*1950. By Agatha Christie. The fifth Miss Marple detective novel. One of my favourites.

The Tigerā€™s Cave*

Wake up and watch Rafa winning his first round match. He has a beautiful fluorescent pink top.

Have a lovely walk in the sunshine with Dolly.

Then we go to the Zoo.

Walk through the African Bird Safari:

See Asim having his lunch:

When he pokes his paw into his toy to release the treats he looks just like Fluffball. Sumatran tigers šŸ… are critically endangered: there are only five hundred left in the wild so he needs a mate. It is not his fault that he killed Melati by mistake when they were mating.

We see the lions šŸ¦ sleeping:

Then we sit outside and have our lunch.

Crossing in the tunnel to the other side of the Zoo, we meet new baby Star the tamandua. They have an eleven month gestation period so he/ she – tamanduas are notoriously difficult to sex – is already advanced and we see her climbing about above her mum, feeding already.

Downstairs in Moonlight World we spend some time with the slender lorises. They pick their way slowly along their branches.

Then it’s time for the Pygmy hippos šŸ¦› – here’s Nicky:

The giraffes šŸ¦’:

The African Wild Dogs:

And then home.

When we arrive Fluffball is in. It’s a beautiful sunny day today but cold: about one degree.

Have a long sleep till six o’clock this evening.

Now am going to find something to watch on the television. There’s no phone or internet here as a car crashed into the box in the road.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
