The Cherry Blossom Murder*

Am feeling a small bit better. Have a chat with MadFatRunner and she reminds me that not everything is awful.

Hopefully Mum has gone to the vet to pick up some steroids for the fluffy monster – his summer allergy has returned above his eye and he’s been scratching it. Poor baby.

Am back at the flat. Go for a quick walk this morning as miss the gym due to a chap from the management company coming to look at the damp. It is cold, windy and rainy outside. Take a photo of some blossom which is attached.

Suzy is visiting me tomorrow and Hannah on Wednesday so I won’t be going through it alone.

Have been sleeping. Now am sitting up in bed. Have just eaten an apple and am drinking a Diet Coke. The panther is sprawled out on the bed next to me, his head resting on his forepaws on the pillow.

Have the last episode of Versace to watch tonight.

Happy Monday everyone!

Warner Bros*

Am not able to work that hard at Spin. There’s a new teacher and am distracted. Here is graph:

Then come home and cry to Mum about the fact that don’t want to go back to the flat. So am staying with parentals for another night and possibly tomorrow night too. Need to be here as mood is very low.

Start reading this this morning, which is good so far:

The fluffy monster has been inside a lot today but is outside now. His summer allergy has returned above his eye so we will pick up his steroids from the vet tomorrow.

Am not very pleased with self for being so pathetic but there it is. Am lying on my bed writing this and the panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on my back.

The attached photo is at Spin this morning.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Spitfires Over Malta*

Work hard at Spin. Then we go to the RAF museum.

Here is a Spitfire:

Here is a Kittyhawk:

Here is me in the actual cockpit of a Spitfire:

It is not very comfortable in there. Definitely wouldn’t be able to fall asleep whilst bringing down enemy aircraft.

Have been sleeping. So has the fluffy monster. He’s been inside all day as it’s been raining.

People are coming for dinner and so I need to have a bath.

I’m lying on my bed writing this and the panther is next to me, resting his head on his front paws.

The attached photo is today’s Spin outfit.

Happy Saturday everyone!

In The Woods*

Struggle through Spin. Here is graph:

Then walk Gandalf. It is good to see him of course, I love him, but it has turned cold again and I don’t have any gloves with me. Here we are:

He’s my favourite boy and I kiss him on the top of his head and cuddle him.

Then see my lovely physio. We do some back and shoulder exercises. He seems to think that am making progress so that’s good.

There was a programme on about peregrine falcons last night. Maybe we will watch it tonight.

Have just discovered that the fluffy monster was sleeping under my chair whilst I was having my sleep, so have put him outside to exercise.

The attached photo is with The Boss at Spin this morning.

Happy Friday everyone!

The Cat Who Lived High*

There is one of these sleeping in the playroom. I think he’s a wild lion:

Must not disturb or aggravate him in case he’s violent.

Do my best at Spin today but the panther stops me getting anywhere by dragging at my heels. Here is graph:

This really isn’t impressive. It upsets me how much the panther affects my strength and stamina but just have to KBO.

Have lunch and a sleep and then go for a walk around the block. Am meant to be adding in more walking on my non-dogwalking-days in an attempt to strengthen back.

It’s 5.58pm. Have just achieved a bath and am lying on my bed in my towel. The panther lies next to me, resting his head on my thighs. He is very heavy.

The attached photo is today’s Spin outfit.

Happy Thursday everyone!

Henry VIII: A European Court In England*

Just a quick one today as we seem to be in a bit of a rush. We are going to see the historian David Starkey talking about something in the village and Mum wants to go out for dinner first.

Work hard at the gym this morning. Then catch train to the parentals. Have lunch with Dad and then have a long sleep. Not feeling well today.

Have just washed self and hair. Am lying on my bed writing this. The panther lies next to me, resting his heavy head on my shoulder.

The attached photo is today’s gym outfit.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Curiosity Thrilled The Cat*

Push myself hard at training: see attached leg press photo. Trainer is pleased with me but have had to put all my weights down because of the panther who reduces my strength.

Walk my Dolly. She is so lovely and cheers me up – the padding of her big paws eases my anxiety and I cuddle her warm fluffy self. Here she is:

Have a sleep.

Wake up and do a bit of writing. New Book now stands at 20,006 words.

Mum sent this photo of the fluffy monster this morning:

Isn’t he a beautiful boy.

Did a wash earlier so need to hang washing on airer.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Sing Another Song, Boys*

Work hard at Spin again. Can’t get heart rate up because of the panther dragging at my heels. Here is graph:

Have a quick cuddle with the fluffy monster and then put him outside.

Dad drives me back to the flat and I have lunch and a sleep.

This evening Jake is coming round with my painting which is So Exciting. Can’t wait to have it in my flat.

Am watching last week’s Versace and soon my painting will be here. The panther lies next to me in the nest, resting his head on my shoulder. I stroke the soft back of his neck.

Happy Sunday everyone!

*1971. Song by Leonard Cohen from the album Songs Of Love And Hate.

Cast On, Kill Off *

Mum brings me the fluffy monster for a cuddle in bed this morning. He is so soft and fluffy and excellent at cuddles.

I do what I can at Spin but the panther drags at my heels – stopping me from getting into the yellow zone. Here is graph:

Then go to the garden centre with Mum and we purchase this swinging chair:

It will arrive on Tuesday. The fluffy monster likes to sharpen his claws on the old swinging chair, which is wooden. He won’t be able to do that on this one.

Have lunch in the garden and then sleep. Have just woken up. It’s 4.32pm. Am drinking iced coffee and waiting for Mum to return home from wherever she is.

Am staying at the parentals tonight too as Mum decided yesterday that mood is too low for me to be on own at flat.

Have finished the first baby scarf and started the second one, which is good.

The attached photo is today’s Spin outfit.

Happy Saturday everyone!
